we’re hiring a senior floral designer

the role

We’re looking for a Senior Floral Designer who’s ready to take ownership of their work and help raise the bar for the whole team. In this role, you’ll lead complex arrangements, play a key part in weddings and events, consult with clients directly, and occasionally mentor junior designers. You’re someone who has found their design voice and is excited to keep developing it in a creative, collaborative environment.

what you’ll do

  • Design and execute floral arrangements across all areas of the business: retail, daily orders, weddings, events, and occasional sympathy work

  • Lead client consultations for smaller events to understand their vision and translate it into stunning, on-brand designs

  • Deliver an exceptional retail customer experience — engaging warmly, offering knowledgeable guidance on arrangements, houseplants, and care, and confidently upselling when appropriate

  • Help maintain a polished, well-merchandised shop floor that reflects our brand and invites customers to linger

  • Handle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solutions-first attitude, escalating when necessary

  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of weddings and larger events

  • Occasionally mentor and guide junior designers, offering constructive feedback and support

  • Assist with sourcing and ordering flowers and supplies from wholesalers

  • Responsible for overseeing houseplant and flower care and conditioning standards throughout the shop

  • Assist with delivery, setup, and breakdown for off-site events

  • Keep the studio clean, organized, and well-stocked

  • Maintain studio standards per separate document.

  • Stay current on design trends and bring fresh ideas to the team

  • Oversee and execute premade arrangements - inside cooler needs 2-3 options for each hand-tied and vase arrangement variety. (Varies but needs to be consistent)
